Cyrus Baygents aka “Bayge” is a bassist and producer born and raised in Washington DC. He is currently studying Performance and Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts as the Instrumental Department’s most outstanding student in 2023. Having produced his own albums of original music under the artist name Bayge, he has also recorded and performed across the US with various different artists across a wide range of genres. Jazz adjacent music with catchy melodies and collective improvisation are some of what to expect when going to one of his live performances, pulling from his roots in jazz, rock and RNB music primarily.
